Scrim transfer tapes are aggressive solvent acrylic adhesives pre-applied to a special release liner. The PVA diagonal scrim is loosely woven to give the tape extra strength and stability. For automotive application, the transfer tape is positioned adhesive side down on car doors and the backing is removed to expose the adhesive on the back, allowing the adhesive to transfer cleanly and completely to uneven surfaces.
For carpet application, the transfer tape is positioned with the adhesive side down on the floor or stair, and the backing is removed, exposing the adhesive on the back to allow the adhesive to transfer cleanly and completely to the carpet surface.
