No. 109 Paper Splicing Tape is a high speed repulpable splicing tape. It is most commonly used in the paper manufacturing industry to attach an already machine-threaded roll of paper to a new roll of paper. Splicing tapes are used to make a manufacturing process continuous by joining the end of a roll of material to the beginning of a new roll. This process of splicing paper reels allows operators to avoid lengthy downtime and maintain continuous production without having to rethread material through their equipment.
