Insulation Facing Description

FSK Foil Scrim Kraft Facing is a type of insulation facing material commonly used in the construction industry. It consists of three layers: a layer of aluminum foil, a fiberglass scrim reinforcement, and a kraft paper backing. The aluminum foil layer provides thermal insulation and acts as a radiant barrier, while the fiberglass scrim adds strength and durability to the material. The kraft paper backing, often treated to have vapor-retardant properties, prevents moisture diffusion through the insulation. No need for extra adhesive when using this foil scrim kraft paper. The thicker kraft provides neat apperance and enhances tensile strength, tear resistant and durability.

FSK Foil Scrim Kraft Facing is compatible with various insulation materials and is used in applications such as walls, roofs, and HVAC ducts to improve energy efficiency and protect against moisture and fire.
