Insulation Facing Description

 

Aluminum foil vapor barrier is a flame retardant, vapor-barrier, and insulation facing for the insulation industry.Foil-scrim-kraft is laminated 5 layers of structure, all 5 layers laminated together using a flame-retardant adhesive. The outer layer is aluminum foil and kraft paper.Middle layer is the glass fiber layer double side coated with flame-retardant adhesive, it increased tensile strength of FSK, and the aluminum foil and kraft paper are firmly bonded.

Aluminum foil vapor barriers can helps prevent moisture-related problems like mold, mildew, and rot, improve energy efficiency by reducing heat loss and moisture-related problems. It is a durable material that can last for many years. Aluminum foil vapor barrier is most commonly used to exposed surfaces of Duct wrap, HVAC Ductwork, Exterior wall insulation, Metal building insulation, Pipeline insulation, Hot water tank insulation.
