Aluminum foil vapor barrier is a flame retardant, vapor-barrier, and insulation facing for the insulation industry.Foil-scrim-kraft is laminated 5 layers of structure, all 5 layers laminated together using a flame-retardant adhesive. The outer layer is aluminum foil and kraft paper.Middle layer is the glass fiber layer double side coated with flame-retardant adhesive, it increased tensile strength of FSK, and the aluminum foil and kraft paper are firmly bonded.
Aluminum foil vapor barriers can helps prevent moisture-related problems like mold, mildew, and rot, improve energy efficiency by reducing heat loss and moisture-related problems.
